End of Days . . Life beyond photography

I watched the movie "2012" today . . . A quotable line from the movie is "Who would have believed that the 'Nut-cases' with the signs were right?" We definitely live in an interesting time in history. According to the movie and Nostradamus and the Mayans and the Egyptians, the Hopi, and maybe the Freemasons, 12-21-2012 will be the end, or the beginning of the "end of days." The History Channel also portrays a dire picture of the end of days, citing the above and other references throughout human history, including the Bible, in discussion of this cataclysmic and apocalyptic turn of events. This Galactic Alignment, which happens every 26,000 years will happen on 12-21-2012. The consensus seems to be, "get ready, because it's coming . . . And there's nothing you can do about it." Tsunamis, super volcanoes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters are eminent, and mankind will face mass death and maybe extinction . . . Well, it MAY happen . . . Are you ready? How would you face extreme change and the certainty of your own death? Do you have a Hope which extends beyond this life?

I am so thankful that the Creator of this universe holds my life and this world in His hands. It really is a matter of faith . . . There is no 21st century scientific proof that the Bible is true, but there are more historical proof texts in existence for the scriptures contained within the Bible than for any book in human history. I am thankful that I met my Savior, Jesus Christ, at the young age of 7 years, when my child-like faith enabled me to trust in His love unconditionally. If you don't have a personal, intimate relationship with the Creator of this world through His Son, Jesus Christ, call me or drop me a line . . . I'll be glad to introduce the two of you!

Fine Art Images placed on Canvas Wraps

Here are some images that are off at the Lab being printed to canvas, and quite a few are destined for some of the businesses at the Lake of the Ozarks where they will be featured.  I'm really excited to see them finally arrive, hopefully the first of next week.  As soon as they are on display, I will post on here and let you know where you can go view some of these fine art pieces.  All will be signed and numbered, and sales will be limited to a first come, first serve basis.  All of the pieces which I print to canvas are guaranteed to last at least 100 years without fading or changing, as long as they are not in direct, unfiltered sunlight.  Call me if you are interested in hanging some of my artwork in your home or business!

Oh, and the colored borders on some of the prints are there because I felt the composition of the image was complete and could not be wrapped on the edge, hence the colored wrap which extends around the edge of the stretcher frame.  Each stretcher is 1 1/2 inches deep, unless you request the extra deep wrap of 2 1/2 inches.  Either way, the resulting image has a depth and "painterly" feel that is just not available on a standard print.  You may view scenic images and fine art images at http://goodwinphoto.biz, but you must order the signed, limited edition gallery wraps directly through me.  You can reach me on my cell phone @ 573-745-1125, or I will be glad to reply to texts as well.
