Anticipating the ocean drive AND the beach ;)

The drive continues on day 2 of our vacation to Florida. Sunshine and clouds as we head south on 231. I sure wish there was a better route to Florida than through Dothan, AL and all the stop and go traffic.

Really looking to some photography and relaxation on the beach! When I get my new software installed & new background set up, I will be able to take photographs of clients and magically place them on the beach or in the mountains, or near a waterfall . . . Cool stuff!

THAT is one good excuse to travel and photograph incredible scenery, right?

Where in the heck is "Bay, AR?"

I'll give you a hint: it is extremely flat, and not too far from Jonesboro, then Memphis, TN . . . Lots of soybeans, rice paddies, and corn.

On the road today . . .

It looks like a long day of driving ahead. Google says it will be just under 10 hours . . I'm thinking we need to add at least 1 to arrive at the Marriott. Speaking of Google, it took us south from Lebanon on 5 to O road, then right on TT, then H, then 95 south. That sure is some pretty country, especially those Ozark "mountains" that crest to give one a "birds eye view" of some BEAUTIFUL scenery! Note to self: make the same drive this fall to check out the scenery. I'm sure the layers of colors will add a lot of depth to the image before me!
